Q: What age range is this suitable for?
Generally suitable for ages 8+, as this is typically the age where kids can focus for longer periods, follow instructions safely, and have the coordination and strength needed for woodworking tools. That said, every child is different, and we’ve had younger children join successfully too. If you’re unsure, feel free to message or call us, and we can chat about whether it’s the right fit for your child.
Q: What will the kids learn?
Each session covers practical woodworking skills in a safe, guided environment - tool use, safety, measuring, hand‑skills, and completing simple projects.
Q: Is this suitable for neurodivergent kids?
Yes. We aim to create a calm, supportive, and predictable environment. If your child has particular needs, feel free to message us. We’re happy to make adjustments where we can.
Q: What do we need to bring?
Closed shoes and a water bottle. We provide everything else - tools, materials, and safety gear.
Q: Do different ages work together?
Yes - but each child works at their own level. An 8-year-old and a 16-year-old will be working on different challenges within the same session.
Q: What ages is this class suitable for?
A: 8 to 16 years. Adult accompaniment is not required.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: No cancellations, but free to reschedule up until 1 day before the class
Q: How long does the class run for, and what's the price?
A: 2 hours, $300 - $660 per guest ($300 for 5 sessions; $360 for 6 sessions; $420 for 7 sessions; $480 for 8 sessions; $660 for Full term (11 sessions))
